A YouTube thumbnail that earns the click: 1280x720, 3-word headline, face forward

My click-through rate went from a flat line to something I actually want to look at.

I asked Quodara for a 16:9 thumbnail for a video about home espresso: one face, exaggerated expression, a three-word headline in a heavy condensed sans, high-saturation background, hard subject separation. It understood that a thumbnail is not a poster. Big shapes, brutal contrast, nothing that disappears at 210 pixels wide.

I tested it the only way that matters: I shrank it to thumbnail size on a phone screen. Still readable. Most AI images fail that test outright.

The headline came out clean and correctly spelled, sitting in the left third with the face on the right, which is the layout that consistently wins.

One chat, three variants. I was A/B testing two of them the same afternoon.

If you make video and you are still paying per thumbnail, run the prompt below once and see what comes back.
