Content marketing: from account setup to a post you can publish
Marketing on Quodara has two halves: record each account once under Marketing channels, then ask in a chat for a plan or for a finished post.
This is not generic copywriting. Platform rules, character limits, format conventions, link policies and advertising-disclosure requirements sit on the agent's side; you only have to say what you are promoting.
Step one: fill in Marketing channels
Entry: Marketing channels
The profile has two layers, so you never write the same positioning ten times over:
- Shared setup (filled once, used by every platform): what you are about, who you want to reach, what people should do after reading, voice, what you can shoot, whether AI-generated video can be used, brand avatar, industry, general notes
- Per-platform profile (one row per platform): account name, profile URL, account type, follower scale, posting cadence, the formats that account actually publishes, platform notes
Each platform shows a status: Not filled in, Incomplete, or Ready for planning.
Required does not mean "you cannot save without it" — it means no plan is produced without it. A gap in the shared setup blocks every platform; a gap in one platform's profile only blocks that platform.
What you never have to fill in: whether outbound links are allowed, reach-throttling rules, cover aspect ratios, character limits and format conventions. Those are properties of the platform, the agent looks them up. The form only asks for things nobody but you can know.
Which platforms are covered
Overseas nodes cover these, with the content formats you can tick when setting one up:
| Platform | Formats |
|---|---|
| X (Twitter) | Single post, thread, image post, short video, long-form article |
| Text post, document carousel, article, native video, poll | |
| Feed post, carousel, Reels, Stories, Live | |
| TikTok | Short video, photo carousel, Live |
| YouTube | Long-form video, Shorts, community post, Live |
| Text post, link post, image post, video post, AMA | |
| Substack / Newsletter | Newsletter issue, note, podcast episode, discussion thread |
| Text post, photo post, video or Reels, Story | |
| Threads | Text post, image post, video post |
| Standard pin, Idea pin, video pin |
China nodes run an entirely different list, and the two do not overlap. Ask about a platform this node does not carry and the agent will say so plainly — it can still give advice for it, but it will not pretend to have read an account profile that does not exist.
What you can ask for
Pick the official default assistant in a chat and just say what you need. The agent first works out which of these you are after:
| What you say | What you get |
|---|---|
| "Write me a LinkedIn post" / "turn this into a newsletter issue" | A finished post: headline, body, images, tags and posting parameters, ready to publish |
| "We launch next week, warm it up for me" | A campaign plan: platform mix, a one to three week schedule, and the first batch of topics |
| "I want to grow on Reddit from zero" / "give me a content marketing plan" | A long-term plan: positioning and audience → platform mix → content pillars and a topic bank → cadence and capacity → cold-start tactics → metrics and review |
Plans deliberately ship without sample posts. Businesses move; copy written two months ahead is usually stale by the time you need it. Pick a topic out of the plan and say "write this one" to get the finished version.
Anything the agent needs you to confirm arrives as an interactive card with the recommendation already selected — one main platform, one or two supporting ones, the primary format for each. You override it if you disagree, rather than picking from a blank menu.
Images, long-form and video all ship finished
All three formats are delivered as finished material, not as a paragraph of copy:
- Image posts — body copy plus generated images, laid out inline with the text, and a cover
- Long-form argument — the kind of piece that has to survive a hostile comment section
- Video — shot list, voiceover and subtitle script, the shots that can be generated rendered straight to mp4, a cover, and posting parameters
Not being able to shoot no longer rules out video. The platform generates short video with voiceover, 2 to 30 seconds a clip. Whether video formats get scheduled for you at all depends on how you answered "what you can shoot" and "can AI-generated video be used" in the shared setup.
Some shots have to be filmed either way: real people testifying, genuine before-and-after results, physical texture used as proof, on-location visits, and efficacy demonstrations in regulated fields such as health and aesthetics. For those the agent asks you for footage or finds another angle — it will not pass AI frames off as the real thing.
Upload a brand avatar once and it keeps getting used: covers and in-post images are generated with it as the reference, so the same character shows up across every platform without describing it again.
What a finished post contains
Everything you need to copy and publish:
- A headline, plus alternates
- Body copy with a one-click copy button
- Images and a cover, generated and placed next to the copy (marked "after paragraph N" on platforms that mix text and images, or "image N in the carousel" on platforms that keep them separate)
- Hashtags
- Suggested posting time and placement
Character limits are a hard constraint, not a suggestion. X caps posts at 280 characters, and every platform has its own ceiling on titles, summaries and cover text. Counts are measured before delivery, not eyeballed, and anything over is cut down to fit.
The same content is never copy-pasted across platforms
What travels between platforms is the material and the point of view, not the post. The same story is a different format on each: X wants a take people reply to, LinkedIn wants a professional insight, Reddit wants a real person recounting first-hand experience with their affiliation disclosed, a newsletter wants depth earned by a subscription.
Compliance and hard limits
- Copy aimed at overseas markets is checked for advertising disclosure (FTC, ASA), evidence behind claims, and data-privacy wording (GDPR). Regulated industries picked in the shared setup — health and aesthetics, supplements, finance and crypto, education — get the stricter pass automatically.
- No invented numbers and no invented experience. Sales figures, user counts, test results, third-party rankings and testimonials are never fabricated, and neither is process detail like "it took three attempts". When data is needed it is looked up online and cited.
- No help removing, altering or hiding AI-content labels, and no "how to beat AI detection". That is unlawful, not a growth tactic.
Common questions
Q: Do I really have to set up a profile first? A: Without the three required fields in the shared setup — what you are about, who you want to reach, what people should do after reading — no plan gets produced. Those are things only you know, and a guessed plan is worthless. Fill in the shared setup, then add profiles for the one or two platforms you actually run.
Q: Does Quodara post for me? A: No. You get material that pastes straight into the platform's editor, with a copy button on the body. Hitting publish stays with you.
Q: What if the platform I want isn't on the list? A: The agent will tell you this node has no profile slot for it. It can still give you advice and things to watch for on that platform, but it will not produce a profile-backed plan or send you looking for an entry point that does not exist.
Q: Where do I see how a post performed? A: If the landing page is an app deployed on Quodara, the Board tab on the Apps page shows traffic and referral channels, splitting search engines, AI assistants, social platforms and direct visits — see 04-publish.md. Per-post numbers still live in each platform's own analytics.
Q: Does marketing work interfere with my code chats? A: No. Marketing content goes through the official default assistant, which is not bound to a repository; code changes happen in the app's own chat. Keeping them in separate chats is cleaner.
